１２月１３日はブバネシュワールで行われたDevadasi National Dance Festivalで踊りました。

今年最後の舞台は、、、、この一年の中で最高の舞台となりました。
踊った後は感謝に満たされて、、、、、。
そしてこんなレビューを書いてくださった方がいます。
Mio Ikeda, a Japanese girl yesterday evening displayed her admirable skill and acumen as an Odissi dancer of credence at ongoing Devdasi National Dance Festival 16, in Rabindra Mandap,day two. Under the able mentorship cum tutelage of Rahul Acharya,the adored and accomplished Odissi exponent of international stature and repute, Mio has visibly scaled heights to reckon with out any second opinion. Her performance, a piece of 'Abhinaya' , based on a popular 'Salabega' Bhajan"AH...E NILA SHAILA PRABALA MATTA BARANA" was indeed unbelievable, particularly keeping in view of her foreign origin.. Understanding ,Odia, it's typically devotional lyrics , like the one she danced with' is praise worthy. She performed every bit of her expression in rhythmic consonance with legendary lyric . Her facial expression,body and leg movements are intrinsically embedded to the lyrical flow of the dance composition/direction by Rahul Acharya who deserves equal appreciations for the sincerity and hard work , he has invested on the this Japanese girl, in making her understand the essence , theme of the lyrics, meaning of every word and bit of punctuations in the lyrics ..
The video clip and still pics are sure to give you an impression about her depth of understanding , the grammar of Odissi and the language Odia in its literary pursuits.
